NMCC opens first One Button Studio in the state

    NMCC SENIOR Hillary Albert demonstrates the new One Button Studio equipment at the E. Perrin Edmunds Library on campus. The new video recording setup is capable of creating professional-quality video projects without the support of camera operators or lighting technicians. The One Button Studio was funded through a grant from the Stephen and Tabitha King Foundation.

    SIGN LEARNING AGREEMENT — University of Maine at Presque Isle President Linda Schott and Luke Shorty, Maine School of Science and Mathematics executive director, shake hands after signing a groundbreaking learning agreement on Feb. 27 that establishes Maine’s fastest and most affordable path to a college degree.     NEW NAME, SAME FACES — On Dec. 16, 2014, the Christian Life Assembly, located at 40 Chandler Road in Presque Isle, voted to come under the umbrella of the Assembly of God and CityReach Network to become CityReach Church Presque Isle. Pastors Dan and Nikki Holmes, who moved to the area in August 2013, said part of the church’s mission is to “go beyond the four walls” and be more visible in the community.
